How does a property auction work?
We will enter your property into a unique auction cycle with a fixed end date. Together, we agree on an attractive Starting Bid to market your property and an undisclosed Reserve Price. Once agreed, marketing of your property begins immediately via our Online Bidding Platform and all leading property portals.

This price is set lower than your reserve price to generate as much interest as possible. - Reserve Price
A minimum price you are seeking to achieve. Your property is not sold for anything less than this amount – unless under your express permission. Only you and the Auction Department are aware of what the Reserve Price is. - Auction Date
Your property will sell for the highest bid at auction end, but only if the offer meets or exceeds your preagreed Reserve Price. - Viewings
We encourage interested parties to view the Video Tour of your property in the first instance, where possible, to maximise the number of potential viewers to your property. We’ll only arrange a physical viewing for proceedable buyers, to eliminate time-wasting. - Legal Pack
Our legal team partners will produce a legal pack at no upfront cost allowing buyers to carry out their due care and diligence before placing an offer. The legal pack allows all parties to facilitate an exchange of contracts as soon as there is an acceptable offer. - Commercial Property

Votta are the best agency we have ever used to rent a flat. From the initial viewing, through the letting process and until the end of our tenancy, they’ve been courteous, communicative, helpful and honest. Compared to previous experiences, their friendliness and will to fight for us was also unparalleled, and we really appreciated that.
Unfortunately, the landlord did not match their honesty. We ended up letting a property through them with a particularly dodgy landlord to no fault of their own, as this person was extremely fake, inconsistent, and manipulative. So much so that she fooled us a few times during the beginning of the tenancy, promising to sort serious draught problems while never having the intention to do so, as we were directly told by her own handymen and friend. Then kept on lying on emails about it.
Votta consistently helped us get through the landlord attempting to take white goods out of the house after we’d had our offer, inclusive of white goods, accepted; warned us and advised us against the landlord attempts to move the deposit funds out of the deposit scheme (in fact, at the end of the tenancy this landlord tried to keep money under false claims and direct defiance of the check out inventory); helped us with the handover of keys when the landlord was being difficult about it; and finally advised us when she tried to get extra rent out of us, in spite of both parties agreeing on the end of tenancy and us having moved out of the property almost a month before she brought that up.
This is all while they’d ended their business with this landlord. At every turn Votta were on our side and provided great advice. They really helped us through a tough and stressful time. Thank you David, Jade and Courtney. It is refreshing to see an agency that actually cares about tenants and not just landlords.

I originally gave a simple one star review with no description as it's very difficult to summarise all the issues my family had with the property Votta rented to us.
To break it down:
There was an electrical fire caused by a leak.
The boiler broke down about a week into living at the property.
A radiator burst.
The shower didn't have hot water for months.
The shower leaked and destroyed the wall below.
The paintwork done prior to moving in left paint droplets everywhere.
It took them over a week to find alternative accommodation for us after the fire.
They promised us they would pay for a cattery for our cats post fire and then went back on this.
Anyway the owner of Votta pathetically asked me to change my review to five stars and post this review...
Yeah his head is very far up his rear end.
"My family and I moved into our house in Dover earlier this year and we were plagued with issues. This property had never been rented before and since moving in there were numerous repairs that cropped up. Despite the issues we had we could not fault the team at Votta, from the moment Stephen showed us the property through to move in, especially Samantha who went above and beyond to not only respond to every email and phone call within a timely manner but when a fire broke out in the house she was on hand to contact the landlord and contractors to arrange repairs as soon as possible and not only that, helped us get the accommodation for my family and my pets. To break it down:
There was an electrical fire caused by a leak.
The boiler broke down about a week into living at the property.
A radiator burst.
The shower didn't have hot water for months.
The shower leaked and destroyed the wall below.
The paintwork done prior to moving in left paint droplets everywhere.
It took them over a week to find alternative accommodation for us after the fire.
They promised us they would pay for a cattery for our cats post fire and then went back on this.
Anyway the owner of Votta pathetically asked me to change my review to five stars and post this review...
Yeah his head is very far up his rear end.
"My family and I moved into our house in Dover earlier this year and we were plagued with issues. This property had never been rented before and since moving in there were numerous repairs that cropped up. Despite the issues we had we could not fault the team at Votta, from the moment Stephen showed us the property through to move in, especially Samantha who went above and beyond to not only respond to every email and phone call within a timely manner but when a fire broke out in the house she was on hand to contact the landlord and contractors to arrange repairs as soon as possible and not only that, helped us get the accommodation for my family and my pets. A really good experience with with the move, we viewed a few flats with Votta. Stephen Wheeler was a great estate agent to work with to find such a great flat to fit everything we needed. I would recommend Votta Estate agents. Stephen always responded to emails, phone calls and any query’s in good time. I work Monday to Friday and found it difficult to fit in times to view flats and Stephen was really accommodating of this. He was very professional and made the move very smooth. I know I am a day early to getting into our new house, but I want to say a massive thank you to Paul. He has been absolutely amazing from the day he came and gave our house a valuation to the day we exchanged contracts. Nothing has ever been too much trouble even though it has probably been the busiest time of his life getting homes sold and completed before the stamp duty rise. He made us laugh from day 1 and made us feel comfortable and at ease. Whatever problems we have had along the way he has sorted or put our minds at rest within 24hrs. As a first-time buyer, I would highly recommend Votta, they made the process far less daunting/stressful than it could have been, especially when I had issues during the process (unrelated to Votta). They're a friendly and responsive company with fantastic customer service. Paul is very approachable, easy to contact and worked around my schedule where possible. He has the patience of a saint, never making me feel uncomfortable when asking him multiple questions and always seeking an answer in a timely manner.
